Kota Tua Jakarta, also known as Old Batavia , will hold its second Jazz Festival on 24th October, 2015. At this annual festival, the public will have the opportunity to listen to many local and international jazz musicians, such as the World Peace Trio (Dwiki Dharmawan, Gilad Atzmon, Kamal Musallam), Mark Wingfield, LigroTrio,Bintang Indrianto, Balawan, Iga Mawarni, Ermy Kulit, Tesla Manaf, Syahravi, IndraAryadi, Yuri Jo, RizaArshad, Yarra, Pande Raja, 4 Senar, and Jakarta Youth Percussion Project. This festival will take place at Taman Fatahillah, starting from 4 pm to 12 pm.
The Kota Tua Jakarta Jazz Festival is part of art performances that are organized by Kota Tua Jakarta to attract music lovers and tourists to the Old Batavia. Produced by popular and talented musician Dwiki Darmawan, the festival is ready to pamper the audience with various genres of jazz. Up to 5,000 people are expected to throng to enjoy the music that is set in 16th century colonial heritage environment.
